About SpiritStick
SpiritStick publishes practical guides to palo santo, smudge sticks and incense, focused on safe use and responsible sourcing. We link to fire-safety, environmental and botanical sources. We do not make health claims, and we don't speak for any cultural tradition.
SpiritStick is an independent site operated by Greenfield Ventures Corp. Questions or corrections? Use our contact page.
How we research
- Each guide is built from safety sources such as the National Fire Protection Association, botanical and conservation references, and the U.S. EPA on indoor air, and we link those sources in the text so you can check them yourself.
- Guides are researched and drafted with AI-assisted tools, then checked against the linked sources before publishing. We do not invent reviews, testimonials, ratings or statistics.
- When rules, fees or prices change, we update the page. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
- Some links are affiliate links; see our affiliate disclosure. Affiliate relationships never decide what we recommend.
